Meet The Little Deers Team

Our welcoming and friendly team have dedicated a combined 72 years to Little Deers and we are looking forward to the next step in the our journey as we await our new purpose built facilities.

(October 2024)

Long Service Recognition

We recently awarded Long Service Thank You awards to Julia, who has been with Little Deers for 15 years, and to Becky and Rosanna who have both dedicated 11 years to the nursery.

(October 2024)

Our staff team are the beating heart of the nursery. They not only care for and educate the little ones, they nurture them, encourage them, provide for their emotional and physical needs and provide a support network for all of our families. They work long days, often as well as caring for their own families and homes too. They are crucial to the nursery, without the amazing work they do, there would be no Little Deers. It is therefore important to us, to look after them too. It's not just the support systems we have in place but the little things we do that make them feel valued and respected.

It is natural for people to move on at certain points in their life and we support this too. However, our aim is to limit staff turnover and to have happy staff, happy children, and happy parents.
