Outdoor Play Opportunities

Our outdoor play space offers a wealth of exciting learning opportunities. We love nature, it provides children with the most wonderful first hand experiences to help them develop understanding of the world and respect for the environment. Our outdoor play space is designed to ensure all children develop personal, social and emotional skills; physical skills including fine and gross motor; communication and language skills; mathematical and literacy skills. Children are also free to express their ideas in a variety of creative ways. This allows them to 'have a go', make predictions, experiment, test thoughts and ideas, adapt and overcome challenges and be proud of their own accomplishments, not for the end result, but the process of how they accomplished something that they set out to achieve.

The kitchen garden, where the children learn about growing fruits, vegetables and herbs. The children learn about healthy eating as they not only grow, but harvest and eat or use what they grow in cooking activities throughout the year...
